was curious about the free version so i tried that, but would only let you save 90 seconds of edits.. so bought the pro version and could not be any happier. it’s so easy to use with the visual waveform os each song and editing couldn’t be any easier! Love this program. The price is a little high but I’m in a time crunch and this works awesome. Would reccommend to a friend.
So far I have not been happy with this program. The directions are minimal to non-existent, the “help” feature is even worse and if you make a mistake, which is often, the “Undo” feature does not work! I gave it two stars, not because I hate it, but because I think that this program can be made better, and for the price, it should be better. Hope the updates improve things, but am not overly optimistic.
This little program barely does anything and what it does is very difficult to use. The manual is all of four pages long and hardly helpful. Undo simply does not work.

Wish i could delete it and get a refund
The app says Pro version and i needed to do a very small edit to an audio file that i wanted to use for a video. All i wanted to do was copy the first 10/15 seconds of the intro, and paste it couple times to make the piano intro repeat, giving me a little more time at the opening of the song. The app itself is very very limited to what you can do. Any other app i used back in the days, i would be able to split the audio, copy the part, paste it and done! I have been trying it for about an hour, and if there is a way to do this, definitely not an easy way. If you are looking to add some effects, do just a little more than splitting and cutting a part of an audio out, look elsewhere. And one thing important to mention, i split and deleted a part of the audio unintentionally, and realized that there is not even a way to “Undo” this! So i had to close the app, reopen it and load the song again! The name says Pro editor, but there is nothing pro about this app.

I have been using this program for about a year and it has worked great. Has some good features and is pretty easy to use.

Did the Job I Needed Without Issues
Great application for splicing multiple recordings together. I was able to record my presentation in three parts and then pulled them all together on export - and was able to name the file as I wanted. Worked smooth as silk.
Very poor user interface
Not worth the price nor the effort to learn to use this app. Scrubbing is too fast and can't use arrow keys. The Help document and video are a joke.
Great & Easy to use!
Even without a tutorial, this app is easy to use and self explanatory. It is great for simple editing of music and edit multiple songs/audio to one song. No complants here!
Poor use of arrow keys
Great app but the fact I can't use arrow keys to scrub forward and backward is a bummer that costs two stars. Really, guys?

Not an easy interface, NO UNDO, other problems
I thought this would be the product for me, but I am so frustrated. Trying to edit an interview, so I need to make multiple cuts, re-arrange, then delete some items. If you are not careful, the item you click on to delete is not deleted but one you want to keep! And there is no undo function that I can see, not on the menu and CTL-Z doesn’t do it. So then you have to re-import the whole file, find the piece you spliced out before, and put it back in the right order. To be safe, the second time around, I exported multiple files, which makes a separate MP3 file for each cut. The naming was terrible, and so hard to figure out which file contains which audio. Anyway, these should be easy things to fix to make it a normal, Apple type product. Wish I could get a refund!
not worth it
all i wanted was to put a vocal over a backing track. i spent $5 and it can’t even do that one basic thing (and if it can, it’s a very well-hidden function) Who is this app made for? Not for amateurs like me, and obviously not for professionals. Don’t give it your money.

It's a great app. It does all the things i want but it could be more accessible for VoiceOver.
Great Audio Editor App
I have used lots of audio editors, this is by far the easiest to use and the best one out there!
Easy to use.
Wow. I cant believe how easy it is to use. Opened the app and I did exactly what I wanted to do in less then 10 minutes.
I wish I could specify a file name when saving
I simply want to be able to import an MP3, edit it, then resave it overwriting the original MP3 file. Unfortunately this software doesn’t let you specify the file name when Exporting. So you have to rename the exported file later, then overwrite your original MP3 file afterwards. Too many unnecessary steps. Otherwise this is a nice and simple audio editing software for basic editing tasks.
slick and simple
I found cutting and splicing simple and accurate to the millisecond when zoomed in.
limited functionality
I have several years of experience in audio editing for a dance company, and was looking for a new app since my old one broke in the transfer to my new mac and OS change. This had strong reviews and was a ‘pro’ version rather than’lite’ so I gave it a try - $5 is a small gamble, eh? I spent about 2 hours playing with it last night . It is fairly easy to get going right out of the gate for splitting a file or mashing multiple files together into 1, but extremely limited in what you can do to said individual files. If you want to cut out 20 seconds in the middle of a recording, you have to split the file 3 ways, delete one, and then save the other 2 as a merged file, none of which can be further edited without repeating the same process from scratch. So gods and goddesses above help you if you mis-set your markers by a fraction of a second, you have to delete everything and reload your source file! In most editing programs this is one drag and click with a preiview or undo option. Same goes for ‘trim the first 10 seconds’ or ‘just the last 3 minutes’ or ‘add 5 sec of silence here'. And forget about volume adjustments, fade in, fade out. Nope. So - concatenate and split, OK, that works fine. Any other editing tasks will lead to hair loss and vile language. Not at all what I expected from something called “Audio Edit Pro”.

Great App, Highly Recommend
I can’t believe some of the negative reviews. This is my favorite audio editing app for music. It is very user friendly with a learning curve of about an hour. Understand though, it will take a few hours of use, mainly by trial and error, to fully understand and become proficient at using it. Also understand, there are numerous audio editing app's that come with all the bells and whistles, I own two or three of them, but they’re not very user friendly and most require a learning curve equivalent to attaining a four year college degree. Thanks but no thanks! Audio Edit Pro is by far my favorite and for $4.99 it can’t be beat. One thing I would recommend adding to the app is the ability to add a blank space between edited sections or slices of audio from 1 to 4 seconds in length (timed silence between end of one song and beginning of another). The app does have fade-in and fade-out but a timed silence between songs would be something nice to have.
Works… but it could be better
Big potential, but lost somewhere. This app has almost what music editors need as a basic tool. For slicing a song its way too complicated to use the slicer and the ratio at the same time. The slicer and cutter should have more precision when you hit it, open automatically the ratio (zooming closely to make it work better) if you need to add a slice from a external song heres where things go more difficult. If you dont slice piece by piece of what do you want; you’re not allowed to insert a a determined space of time that late imported slice you wish. The controls on volume box are tiny! its too difficult do hit it. What if things were a little bit easier?
Crashes way too much
I really like the idea of splitting audio into separate files, but this app crashes like crazy. One particular time it crashed 5 times in a row, how frustrating!
Good for the price
There are a lot of good (expensive) software that does a lot of things. If you want something advanced, buy something advanced. I am happy with the resoults of this App. It does it’s job. I was looking for something that meets my needs and this App does it. I will the next star when you do a little improve on your design. That’s my only one concern. Otherwise, thanks a lot.

It doesn’t work. Don’t pay for this. I sent support a message as instructed to do when writing this review. I asked for a refund and this was my response: Hi The app have undo/redo function . Your suggest is very good . Thank you very much . Have you ordered the app from Mac app store ? if yeas, then you need refund from apple . Only apple have the right to refund . Your suggest is very good . thanks again . English isn’t their first language and they certainly can’t write a professional e-mail. Notice the spacing after the sentence, notice the mis-spelled “yeas”, supposed to be “yes”. Caveat Emptor!!!
